The following tips will help
Student Voice is a Lehman initiative but open to all CUNY students. If you want to contribute, please refer to the Contacts tab. When writing, keep in mind the following points.
- Feel free to write in the first person and incorporate your point of view.
- Try to write in an engaging way so people connect with your message and feel included in the narrative.
- Try to limit the word count to between 500 and 750 words.
- Try to focus your post and capture the reader’s attention.
- Remember, writing is a creative process and you should be prepared to work with the editors to improve your final draft.
- Finally, Student Voice focuses on human rights, human security, peace and social justice issues. In the course of a student’s everyday experiences, one encounters ordinary social justice issues that can be framed through a human rights lens. Let your voice be heard through Student Voice
